About Me

Hi 👋, I'm Sachin Chhabra, a Machine Learning Scientist at Wayfair with a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Arizona State University.

I design and build production-scale recommendation engines for shoppable inspirational images at Wayfair, helping users discover products through visual inspiration.

My Ph.D. research focused on computer vision and label-efficient training of neural networks, including domain adaptation, semi-supervised learning, and self-supervised learning. This work has resulted in multiple first-author publications at venues such as BMVC and WACV, as well as patents.

Outside of work and research, I enjoy building open-source machine learning projects such as LLMs and Vision Transformers from scratch, and I contribute as a regular reviewer for conferences including CVPR, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, and ICCV.
